Insurance plans insured by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company (UnitedHealthcare)
Medicare Parts A and B provide hospital and medical coverage through the Federal Government. However, they don’t cover everything. UnitedHealthcare provides you a variety of options to expand and fit your coverage needs.
Most Medicare Advantage plans combine Part A hospital, Part B medical and Part D prescription drug coverage into one plan. These plans may also include additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare such as: dental, vision, hearing and fitness program coverage. Plans are not available in AK, GU, MP or VI.
Also known as Medigap, these plans help pay some of the out-of-pocket costs not paid by Original Medicare Parts A and B. Medicare Supplement plans allow you to go to any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare patients. A stand-alone Prescription Drug (Part D) Plan can be used along with a Medicare Supplement Plan.
Part D plans help with the cost of prescription drugs. These plans may be used along with Original Medicare Parts A and B, and with Medicare Supplement plans.
